Tides & Tumbleweeds is the studio of artist Katie Sprules — pottery, painting and mixed-media work made on the Connecticut shoreline, plus hands-on workshops across Fairfield County. Every piece is one of a kind, and every class sends you home holding something you made.
Everything here came out of one kiln.
Wheel-thrown and hand-built stoneware, glazed and fired in small batches. Because each opening is a single firing, quantities are genuinely limited — when a piece is gone, the next one will not be identical.
